My Work
EC Twins

EC Twins (2012) – Photoshop
The EC Twins have paved the way for House Music domination on a global scale. This is some of the freelance work I’ve done while working for MusicBizPro. They gave me two images and a copy of the logo and told me they needed a facebook landing page and this is what I came up with. I used the pink colors to match the logo. I wanted to give it a flashy look to help portray the feel of house music and the night life vibe.

DOOM!

DOOM! (2008) Pencil/Sharpie/Photoshop
“He wears a mask just to cover the raw flesh
A rather ugly brother with flows that’s gorgeous” – MF DOOM
This was a drawing I did at home when I was bored. I was listening to my favorite rapper MF DOOM and it inspired me to draw this by hand and color it in Photoshop. I hope to have chance to create some graphics for MF DOOM in the future. If you’ve never heard any music from this guy then you should check out Madvillainy by Madvillain. Classic Hip-Hop album right there!
Orange Lazarus

Orange Lazarus (2011) Illustrator/Photoshop
This is Ocky Goodsounds’ Orange Lazarus mixtape. One of my favorite things about working with Ocky Goodsounds is that whenever he comes to me in need of design work, he gives me free creative range to do anything I want. It just so happens, nine times out of ten I end up creating something he likes almost instantly.
Goodsounds Lifestyle (2011) Illustrator/Photoshop
This is the cover art for the single “Goodsounds Lifestyle” by Ocky Goodsounds. The single was the first song to be released off the mixtape Orange Lazarus. Ocky literally told me that he wanted these six specific items incorporated into the design.
I strongly suggest you check out Ocky Goodsounds aka Red.October
Impact Health Solutions

Impact Health Solutions (2011)
I did this logo for Impact Health Solutions. I worked mostly with the owner of the company as well as his son. This is one of the first designs I created for a business as opposed to a band or musician. Designing this logo was a learning experience. I did various concepts of the logo. The one that became final is the logo to the left.

LUMPS

LUMPS (2009) Photoshop
“YOU ARE THE KING! MANY BLESSINGS upon you!” – Buddy Leezle
Buddy Leezle is a funny guy. It was fun doing this project because he responded to my emails pretty quick (like within a few minutes) and he always wrote only about one or two sentences saying what he needed changed. But every time I sent a revision he would just say things like “BLAZIN! LOOKS TIGHT!” or “PERFECT! YEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!”
Floating Vessels

Floating Vessels (2009) Photoshop
This is also one of my favorite projects. The original name of this album was “You Equals What?” or “U=?”. But after I sent the initial concept, they guys in Colors In The Air changed the name of the album to “Floating Vessels”. That’s such a great feeling to know that my design influenced the name of the album. I will never forget this experience!

Simple Circus

Simple Circus (2010) Photoshop
“We are so excited! You did a fabulous job! We couldn’t have asked for anything more!” – John Muscato - Guitarist for Simple Circus
This is the album art I designed for Simple Circus’ self-titled album. It was the band’s idea to handwrite the lyrics and include them in the booklet. I thought that was pretty cool and it turned out nice.

The Mork Chronicles Vol. 2

The Mork Chronicles Vol. 2 (2009) Photoshop
When Ocky came to me for this album cover, he said the same thing he always says to me: “Terry, I need some art for my new mixtape.”And that’s basically it every time. For this particular project, I didn’t get to hear the music from the mixtape before I began designing. This was actually the first concept I sent him and he loved it!

Fluorescent

Fluorescent (2008) Pencil/Marker/Photoshop
This is another project I did for Cerebral Vortex of The Freshest Kidz. This mixtape is called Fluorescent. Cerebral Vortex had seen a few of my drawings and had requested that I draw a cartoon character version of him. The fluorescent colors of the mixtape definitely reflect the music on the album.
Check out Cerebral Vortex and The Freshest Kidz!
Mirror Mirror

Mirror Mirror (2011) Photoshop
“Terry is the man. Period.” – Justin Walker – Guitarist for Colors In The Air
Mirror Mirror was one of my favorite projects. I’m a fan and long time friend of the guys in Colors In The Air and was able to hear some of the songs before anyone else which really helped when making the art for the album. I was actually able to sit in on some of the writing process as well which was very cool. I love music which makes me love doing album art even more!

When I was in highschool I was in a band called Tears Of Tomorrow. Looking back on it makes me laugh but at the time I was very passionate about the music. A few of the members of Tears Of Tomorrow continued writing music together and later formed Colors In The Air. I am good friends with these guys and enjoy creating artwork that represents such great music.

Kitty Kat Kaboodle

Kitty Cat Kaboodle (2009) Photoshop
I’ve never actually met Cerebral Vortex but I’ve done several designs for him. We are able to communicate very well via e-mail. Although this design is sort of flamboyant, I believe it fits the music of the EP very well. This particular design is for an EP named Kitty Cat Kaboodle. The EP did so well that Cerebral Vortex had it shopped to a label. Unfortunately the label already had they’re own graphic designer and this design was not used when the EP released.
Mountain Dew

Mountain Dew (2010) Photoshop
This was just something I did in my free time. The background image of the sky was taken on my way to Orlando from Miami. I saturated the photo and added the stars, the moon, the mountain, and the climber afterwards. I’d love to use this as album art.
Attack of the Angry Hearts

Attack Of The Angry Hearts! (2007) Flash/Photoshop
Yet another mixtape cover for Ocky Goodsounds a.k.a. Red.October. This (along with many other designs I’ve done for Ocky) was another project in which I had full creative control over the artwork. I took the name of the tape pretty literal and started sketching little angry heart characters and once Ocky saw the concept he wanted me to run with it. This is one of my first mixtape designs ever and to this day it’s still one of my favorites.
The Day I Ate Hollywood

The Day I Ate Hollywood (2007)
This is the first mixtape I designed for Ocky Goodsounds a.k.a. Red.October. My roommate introduced me to him while we were both in college. I knew after doing this project that I would work with Ocky many more times in the future.

Drawings (2004-2011) Pencil/Pen/Sharpie
These are a bunch of drawings I’ve done in my free time. Most are done with just a pencil and a sharpie.
